Service Description

EMDR is a structured, evidence-based therapy designed to help the brain process and integrate distressing experiences that may feel “stuck.” When something overwhelming happens, the nervous system can have difficulty fully processing the experience. This can lead to ongoing symptoms such as anxiety, triggers, negative beliefs, or emotional reactivity. EMDR uses bilateral stimulation (such as eye movements or tapping) to support the brain in reprocessing these experiences in a way that reduces their emotional intensity and allows for greater clarity, calm, and resilience.
